The short answer
Choose a notepad around how the recipient uses paper: a short daily list, everyday notes or a favourite theme. Compare the printed layout and size in the product photographs, then match the humour to your relationship. A themed pad makes a personal gift without needing a large bundle.

01 / THE GUIDE
Start with what they actually write down
A useful notepad gift matches a habit as well as a sense of humour. Think about whether they jot reminders, make a short daily list or simply like keeping paper beside their laptop. Then choose a design that feels like them.
For a colleague you barely know, a straightforward list pad is a gentler choice than a joke about their personality. For a close friend, a music reference or familiar saying can make an everyday item feel personal.
02 / THE GUIDE
Three different reasons to choose a pad
Forever Emo is an A6 notepad for someone who enjoys the emo theme. Choose it for the friend who still shares their favourite tracks and likes stationery with a visible nod to that interest. If you want an activity for a group instead, a music card game serves a different purpose.
Three Things To Achieve Today is an A6 pad built around a short daily list. It is a practical choice for someone who likes writing down a few tasks. It is stationery, not a promise to improve productivity or mental health.
Moan & Move On is an A6 notepad with a cheeky theme for notes and everyday grumbles. Choose it when you know the recipient enjoys that humour; for a formal work gift, a simpler list design may be easier to judge.
03 / THE GUIDE
Check the layout as well as the cover
Look at the product photographs for writing space, headings and the printed design. A structured page can suit someone who likes prompts; someone who sketches or writes long lists may prefer a less structured layout. Do not choose on the title alone.
A6 is a compact paper size, approximately 105 × 148 mm. Check each listing for the actual format and contents rather than assuming every notepad in the shop has the same dimensions, page count or ruling.
04 / THE GUIDE
Make a small stationery gift feel thoughtful
Add a handwritten card explaining why you picked the design: a favourite band, a shared joke or their love of lists. If you add a pen or another gift yourself, choose it separately; the notepads shown here are individual products and do not imply a bundled pen or wrapping.
For Secret Santa, compare the current product price with the organiser’s budget before buying. For a birthday, choose the design around the recipient rather than a seasonal theme so they can keep using it afterwards.
